Rector appointments published in the Official Gazette

In accordance with a decree signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and published in the Official Gazette, new rectors have been appointed to five universities. According to the decree published in the Official Gazette, Prof. Dr. Adem Aslan has been appointed Rector of Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci to Boğaziçi University, Prof. Dr. Çavlan Çiftçi to Demiroğlu Science University, Prof. Dr. Selim Karahasanoğlu to İzmir Democracy University, and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Okur to Marmara University.

The appointments in question were made in accordance with Article 13 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and Articles 2, 3 and 7 of the Presidential Decree No. 3.
