Massive operation across Türkiye! 50 billion real estate scam prevented

As part of an investigation conducted by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, three waves of operations were conducted targeting a criminal organization that seized and sold real estate belonging to companies using forged documents. These operations prevented the sale of approximately 50 billion lira worth of real estate, and the number of detainees rose to 20.
The governor's office stated that the criminal organization was found to have committed crimes such as "establishing and managing a criminal organization, aggravated fraud, forgery of official and private documents, unlawful acquisition of personal data, and bribery." It was determined that the organization targeted companies with significant real estate holdings in Yalova, Istanbul, Ordu, Antalya , and Bursa through operations conducted since November 7, 2024. Measures taken during the sales process prevented the sale of properties belonging to eight companies.
Following the identification of the organization's office where it produced forged documents, operations were conducted on December 17, 2024, and May 13, 2025. Seventeen suspects, including the organization leader, were arrested in these operations. Following the investigation, it was announced that Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) data was reviewed, and a third wave of simultaneous operations were conducted in Yalova, Istanbul, Kocaeli, and Bitlis on September 2, 2025. AU, MK, LS, C.İ, İ.A., and H.Ç., identified as organization members, were detained in the operation.
During the searches, 20 digital materials, four notary documents believed to have been used in crimes, and 10 bank/credit cards were seized. Judicial control measures were imposed on suspects AU, MK, and H.Ç., who were referred to judicial authorities on September 4, 2025, while LS, C.İ., and İ.A. were arrested.
A total of 34 suspects were detained in the operations, which were conducted in three waves. Twenty of these individuals were arrested, and 10 were placed under judicial control.
