Claim: MHP's proposal has been met, five MPs from the commission will meet with terrorist leader Öcalan in İmralı

MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız called on the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), Numan Kurtulmuş, and said, "It will not be a weakness if the founder of the terrorist organization, Abdullah Öcalan, chooses three or four people from the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission, with the timing and method carefully considered, to receive his statements."
The news in Sözcü newspaper claimed that, following the MHP's call, efforts were initiated to have five members of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission go to İmralı Island.
The Parliamentary Commission consists of 51 MPs, 22 from the AK Party, 11 from the CHP, 5 from the DEM Party, 4 from the MHP, 3 from the Yeniyol groups and from parties without a group.
Allegedly, an "Imralı delegation" of up to five people will be formed to represent the commission. The meeting with terrorist leader Öcalan will discuss the new peace process, disarmament, the process of dissolving the PKK terrorist organization, and the status of other organizations operating under various names in the region (such as the SDF/YPG).
