CNN TÜRK reporter Doğa Başak Öztürk shared the details of the agenda for tomorrow's Cabinet meeting. Öztürk listed the Cabinet agenda as follows:
MAIN AGENDA ITEM: TERRORISM-FREE Türkiye
The main item on the cabinet agenda is the Terror-Free Turkey process. The work of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission, established under the auspices of Parliament, will be discussed. The commission will hold its 8th and 9th meetings on September 11th and 12th. Regional developments are also a key item on the cabinet's agenda. The failure of the SDF/YPG, the Syrian affiliate of the PKK terrorist organization, to lay down its arms and comply with the March 10th agreement signed with Damascus is a matter of concern in Ankara. The intermittent escalation of tensions in Syria and terrorist activities posing a threat to Türkiye will be discussed, along with the latest developments on the ground.
GAZA IS ONE OF THE IMPORTANT TOPICS
Another important topic will be Gaza. The massacre Israel is carrying out in Palestine, the current situation, the uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid, and steps Türkiye can take to increase diplomatic pressure to stop Israel. An important meeting is scheduled for later.
The UN General Assembly is approaching, and crucial sessions on Palestine will take place. Türkiye's plans to increase international diplomatic pressure on Israel in the period leading up to that meeting will be discussed. Israel's plan for the outright annexation of Palestine is also on the agenda.
The latest developments in the Russia-Ukraine war and Türkiye's contributions to peace will also be discussed.
Another important topic, of course, is the economy . The latest developments in the fight against inflation, the implications of the implemented program, and future steps will be discussed.
