Boxers from Ingushetia performed triumphantly at district competitions

Athletes from Ingushetia won four medals at the North Caucasus Federal District Boxing Championship among men aged 19-40, the press service of the regional boxing federation reported.

At the competition, which took place from June 15 to 19 in Grozny, Umar Sultygov became the champion in the 92 kg weight category. Two silver medals were added to the team's collection by Khusein: Obiev (67 kg) and Hasan Shaukhalov (75 kg). And Amerkhan Yevloyev (48 kg) took the bronze.

The winners of the tournament received tickets to the Russian Championship, which will be held in August in Yekaterinburg.

Also within the framework of the championship, a judge from Ingushetia, Ibragim Dzangiev, was noted in the nomination “Best Judge”.

Earlier it was reported that Ossetian judoka Inal Tasoev became a two-time world champion.
