A series of GTO festivals starts in Kaluga

A series of regional stages of the GTO festivals will start in Kaluga on June 21. According to the Kaluga Region Sports Ministry, the first competitions will be held at the Yunost Olympic Reserve Sports School.

The program will open with the GTO family festival - teams of parents, children and grandparents will compete for the right to represent the region at the all-Russian stage in Cheboksary.

The festival for schoolchildren aged 12–15 will take place on June 25–26. The best participants will receive tickets to Artek, where they will compete for Kaluga Oblast in the fall.

The series will end on July 1 with a festival among university students. Young people will demonstrate strength, endurance and the desire to win, fulfilling the standards of the GTO complex.
