After Comesaña's complaint, the AFA declared Deportivo Madryn's victory over Gimnasia de Jujuy: what the Disciplinary Court's ruling says and how the series continues

This Monday, the The AFA Disciplinary Tribunal announced its ruling on the match between Gimnasia de Jujuy and Deportivo Madryn, which was suspended at halftime by referee Lucas Comesaña, who reported threats from Jujuy officials.
The first leg of the quarterfinals of the Reducido (Reduced) for the second promotion in the Primera Nacional was declared a 3-0 loss to the Jujuy team "in favor of Club Deportivo Madryn," according to the ruling, which gives the northern team's directors five days to issue their statement.

There, according to a subsequent complaint from Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy's management, the referee allegedly racially abused one of the young ball carriers, who was holding a sign on the side of the field.
Last Tuesday, the Lobo from Jujuy were given the opportunity to be discharged. Therefore, they submitted a formal request to resume—or, ultimately, replay—the match against Deportivo Madryn. In an official statement, the Jujuy club outlined three alternatives it presented to the Argentine Football Association.
Now, after analyzing the referee's report and the respective statements from the clubs (Lobo presented it on Tuesday, while the South presented it on Friday), what had been speculated (and expected) for the last few days was confirmed: Viamonte awarded the Aurinegro a 0-3 win in the first match, and the return match will be played next Sunday in Patagonia.
For all the above reasons, the AFA SPORTS DISCIPLINE COURT RESOLVES:
1°) Apply a fine of 2500 to the Gimnasia y Esgrima Club (Jujuy) under Art. 12, inc. 3, section a) of the Disciplinary Code.
2°) Deem the match lost in favor of Club Deportivo Madryn, with the regulatory score of 0-3, in accordance with article 15.1 of the Disciplinary Code.
3°) In view of the mention in the arbitration report of Mr. Walter Morales and Mr. Leandro Meyer, in their capacities as President and Secretary of the Gimnasia y Esgrima Club of Jujuy, it is appropriate to forward the matter for a period of five (5) days so that they can make the corresponding statements.
The ruling of the AFA Disciplinary TribunalThe second leg of the quarterfinals of the Reducido for second promotion will be played next Sunday, November 2nd at 4 PM, at the Abel Sastre Stadium. Furthermore, the Aurinegros, who are leading the series 3-0 thanks to the court ruling, have a sporting advantage due to their higher ranking, meaning they will advance to the semifinals in the event of a tie on aggregate.
