• POETS' CEMETERYWritten by Ersin Doğan, "The Poets' Cemetery" interweaves poetry and theater, centering on a confrontation oscillating between existence and nothingness. The intersecting journeys of Piraye, who carries the heavy burden of leaving her children in this world, and Mısra, who said goodbye to life before they were born, are conveyed to the audience through memories, poems, and a timeless reunion. This dramatic connection established between reality and dreams, pain and poetry, forgetting and remembering, is strengthened by the possibilities of physical theater, transforming into a multi-layered language on the stage. Directed by Selena Demirli and starring Selena Demirli and Dilek Uluer, the play will premiere on September 12th at the İBB Habitat Stage and on October 3rd at the Kadıköy Boa Stage.
• 12 ANGRY MEN
Inspired by Reginald Rose's "12 Angry Men," writer and director Murat Karahüseyinoğlu presents the 1972 trial of Deniz Gezmiş, Yusuf Aslan, and Hüseyin İnan, which resulted in a death sentence, through a dramatic narrative interwoven with Turkish Grand National Assembly minutes, official documents of the period, and historical speeches. In this documentary, Karahüseyinoğlu both transforms a historical segment into theatrical language and aims to turn the audience into intellectual participants, not merely observers. "12 Angry Men," starring Mehmet Esatoğlu, Hamit Demir, Bertan Dirikolu, and Engin Alpateş, will be at the Kadıköy Moda Stage on September 14, at the Beyoğlu BiSahne on September 26, and at the Kadıköy Moda Stage on October 12.
