NATO countries delivered $50 billion worth of weapons to Ukraine in 2024, according to the chairman of the bloc's military committee, Giuseppe Cavo Dragone. According to him, the alliance intends to increase the volume of aid.
"NATO countries have provided (Kyiv) with 99% of the total volume of military aid," the head of the committee told the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. "In 2024, their volume reached 50 billion dollars."
"By the end of the year we will match the previous figure," he said. "The forecasts are very optimistic." At the same time, the states that are part of the North Atlantic bloc, according to Dragone, intend to continue military assistance and "even increase it."
