In a six-stage race featuring the world's best teams and several internationally renowned cyclists, with Belgian Remco Evenepoel being the most impressive, Rubén Fernández's performance stood out for the Agueda team. The Spanish cyclist finished 16th overall, 42 seconds behind the winner, Frenchman Romain Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ).
