The competition committee assessed 60 works in this year's edition. Kinga Fiałkiewicz from class 3b took 1st place, and Julia Grochoła from class 1a – 3rd place. On June 9 this year, high school students from the Public Catholic High School in Jarosław, whose principal is Father Grzegorz Delmanowicz, participated in the awards ceremony at the State Archives in Rzeszów [paywall]. During the opening of the exhibition of distinguished works, Kinga shared with those gathered in the auditorium her reflections related to the choice of the topic and preparation of the photographs.
– Our high school students also played the latest board game prepared by the State Archives under the common slogan "One More Summer 1914-1918" and took on the role of members of a family living in the Austrian partition and tried to survive the First World War.
– said the proud director of PKLO. It is worth adding that the substantive supervisor of the students is Paulina Sawa, a history teacher at the high school.
