Mayor of Ińsk without a vote of confidence

Ewa Szkołut, mayor of Ińsko, did not receive a vote of confidence from councilors at the unconditional session. This is the only such situation in the Stargard district.
During the 14th session of the City Council in Ińsk, which took place on June 26, the councilors did not grant a vote of confidence to Ewa Szkołut. The report on the state of the commune was met with criticism from some councilors.
– I don't trust you – said councilor Piotr Rusielewicz. – The commune is drifting without direction and without prospects.
– You drifted off in your speech, it is a continuation of the political campaign, you only criticize instead of support – defended herself Ewa Szkołut, the mayor of Ińsk, enumerating the completed investments.
– I say a firm no to politics conducted in the office – said councilor Maciej Banasiewicz. – This year has been riding on the hump of your predecessors. I have a negative assessment of your cooperation with the city council and the exchange of information.
– Each mayor continues the actions of their predecessors, we try to finish the investments that were started earlier – the mayor retorted. – As of December 24, the budget surplus amounted to PLN 1.6 million.
Andrzej Racinowski, in the years 2006–2014, mayor of Ińsk, defended Ewa Szkołut.
– I largely disagree with these allegations – said councillor Racinowski. – The mayor had to devote most of her time to repairing certain investments. There is a lack of cooperation and trust on the part of councillors. We need to work for the residents, not wage war. You exaggerated in your speeches. The mayor deserves a vote of confidence.
– For the good of the residents, we should start reaching an agreement – appealed Councilor Jerzy Kościelny, a councilor from Ińsko.
Only 3 councilors voted in favor of granting the mayor a vote of confidence, 11 against. 11 councilors voted in favor of adopting the financial report for 2024 and granting a discharge. 3 did not participate in the vote.
Similar votes were recently held in all local governments in the Stargard district. Unanimous absolution was granted to Rafał Zając, president of Stargard, Iwona Wiśniewska, head of the Stargard district with the board, as well as Stanisława Bodnar, mayor of Suchań, Stanisław Szymczak, mayor of Chociwel, Patrycja Gross, mayor of the Stargard commune, Paweł Filip, mayor of Dobrzany, Paweł Nowakowski, mayor of the Dolice commune, and Mateusz Ruciński, mayor of Marianów. In favor of granting absolution to Julita Pilecka, mayor of Kobylanka, 14 councilors voted in favor, 1 abstained. A vote of confidence and absolution was also granted to Tomasz Ogonowski, mayor of Stara Dąbrowa. 10 councilors voted in favor of granting absolution to Ogonowski, 1 abstained. ©℗
