Motorcyclist Veijer makes comeback in Italian Grand Prix

Motorcyclist Collin Veijer is fit enough to make his comeback at the Italian Grand Prix next weekend. This was reported by his team Red Bull KTM Ajo, which will start at the Mugello circuit with Veijer and his Turkish teammate Deniz Öncü in Moto2.
Veijer sustained a wrist injury last month and missed the British Grand Prix and the Aragon Grand Prix as a result. The 20-year-old from Staphorst is on 11 points after six races in his debut season in Moto2.
Veijer will undergo a medical examination on Thursday afternoon. If he passes that examination positively, he can participate in the training on Friday. Saturday is the qualification for the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday.
"We just arrived at Mugello and of course I'm happy to be back in the 'paddock'", Veijer said via the team. "We are still waiting for the green light tomorrow in the medical check and then focus on the race weekend. We will work step by step, rebuild the confidence and try to be fast again. We will see how my arm holds up."
Veijer also wants to be a little better prepared for the TT with the race in Italy. The races in Assen are a week later.
