New red zone in Padua, Bertin: «Welcome to have a safe city»

"I repeat what I said in recent days: everything that can serve to provide security to citizens should be welcomed. In this sense we are convinced that this should serve not to alarm but to spread the image of Padua as a safe city": Patrizio Bertin, president of Ascom Confcommercio Padova, underlines his "green light" for the red zones in the shadow of the Saint.

Bertin adds: "Safety, for a city like Padua with widespread trade and growing tourism, is fundamental. And it is even more fundamental that, in this context, neighborhoods and areas not only in the city center also find answers. Having said this, we reiterate that safety, for businesses as well as for citizens, is a value regardless and attention must be kept high on the phenomenon".
