Maintenance and clean-up, two city streets closed: changes to traffic flow

The closure of two important city roads is expected in the next few days.

In order to carry out the remediation of the gas network pipeline in the section of Via San Francesco between Pontecorvo and Via Ospedale Civile and in the section of Via Melchiorre Cesarotti between Via San Francesco and number 28, a temporary closure to vehicular traffic will be arranged in Via San Francesco (in the section between Via M. Cesarotti and number 204) from Wednesday 7/05/2025 to Saturday 31/05/2025 with the temporary institution of two-way traffic in Via San Francesco in the section between Via Galileo Galilei and number 204 and in Via Ospedale Civile in the section between number 24 and Via San Francesco with the suspension of the pedestrian area of ​​Via San Francesco in the section between Via Galileo Galilei and Via Santa Sofia, as well as Via Santa Sofia.

To carry out an excavation for the installation of a cable duct, the temporary closure of Via del Giglio to vehicular traffic has been ordered for sections functional to the progress of the work: from Tuesday 6 to Friday 16 May in the section of Via del Giglio between number 79 and Via Luigi Strazzabosco and from Monday 12 to Thursday 22 May in the section of Via del Giglio between Via Luigi Strazzabosco and Via Fornace Morandi. Nothing changes for access to private properties enclosed in the construction area.
