Sam Altman, 40, head of ChatGPT developer OpenAI, will receive the Axel Springer Award. The award recognizes Altman's "contribution to digital transformation and his conviction that technology must serve people, not the other way around," the media company Axel Springer announced. The awards ceremony is scheduled for September 24 in Berlin.
