Woman riding motorcycle on 401 accused of hitting and kicking passing vehicle

An incidence of alleged road rage on Canada's fastest highway has landed a London woman driving a motorcycle in trouble with the law.
The OPP said the 28-year-old was hitting and kicking another vehicle with an object while on her bike. Both she, and the driver of the car, were travelling west-bound on the 401 near London on Saturday evening at around 7 p.m., police said.
Police said the vehicle sustained damage, but that no one was injured.
"Obviously, we never want to see this behaviour on any roadway, especially a major highway like the 401," Const. Jeff Hare said.
"If you find yourself in a situation such as this, attempt to disengage. Take some deep breaths and if you are unable to de-escalate the situation, call police for assistance."
The motorcyclist, who appeared in court and has since been released until her next appearance in October, is charged with the following:
- Dangerous Operation
- Assault with A Weapon
- Mischief Under $ 5,000
