Frightening fire in Arnavutköy: Fuel tanker and containers burned to ashes

The fire broke out around 12:15 a.m. in the private industrial zone on Şeker Street in the Ömerli Deliklikaya neighborhood of the Arnavutköy district. Allegedly, the fire, which broke out for an as yet unknown reason, engulfed two fuel tankers, two pieces of construction equipment, and some containers.

The fire was brought under control.

Firefighters, police, UMKE (National Fire and Emergency Management Presidency), and paramedics were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control, albeit with difficulty due to its spread. Police also maintained security measures in the area.

The fire was captured on cell phone footage by nearby residents. After the fire was extinguished, an investigation into the cause began. Police have launched an investigation.
