Children flew their kites for Sıraç, who had a bone marrow transplant.

Sıraç Bayraktutar, who was diagnosed with leukemia, underwent a bone marrow transplant after a challenging 3-year treatment process.
After the transplant, which went well, volunteers from the Turkish Red Crescent Palandöken Branch, who supported him throughout the treatment process, prepared a surprise for Sıraç.
To celebrate Sıraç's bone marrow transplant at the school in the Güzelova Neighborhood of the Yakutiye district, kites bearing the Red Crescent emblem were flown and the sky was colored.
Cotton candy was served to the children who flew the kites in the field next to the school.
Bayraktutar, who watched the event from a distance due to his critical health condition, said he was very happy.
"OUR SIRAC WILL CONTINUE ITS LIFE IN A BEAUTIFUL WAY"
Muhammet İkbal Çiçek, President of the Turkish Red Crescent Palandöken Branch, explained that a bone marrow transplant was performed on Sıraç, whom they met three years ago through a friend.
Çiçek said, "We celebrated Sıraç's recovery with kites and cotton candy with our children. Sıraç and I have formed a bond over the past three years. Thankfully, if he's careful for another year, Sıraç will continue his life well. We wanted to support him here with our children and celebrate his recovery."
Mother Serpil Bayraktutar also stated that she had a bone marrow transplant and the results were positive.
Bayraktutar, who thanked the Red Crescent volunteers, said, "They made a wonderful surprise. Sıraç was very happy, and we were very happy. We were very happy. Happiness is very important in this disease. It's a very difficult process. The transplant process is very challenging. I thank everyone who supported us during this process. I hope all the children will recover."
