Zeydan Karalar visited İmamoğlu the day before he was detained

Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar was detained within the scope of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Aziz İhsan Aktaş crime organization investigation. Yesterday (Friday, July 4), Karalar visited Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor and CHP's presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is being held in the Marmara Closed Prison in Silivri.

Making a statement after the visit, Karalar said:

"President Ekrem's morale is quite high. We visited not only President Ekrem, but also President Oya and President Kadir, who were arrested in Adana a while ago. They are all very fit and energetic. On the contrary, they give us morale. They still believe that this process is still political. We hope they will regain their freedom very soon and join us."
