World number 5 bids farewell to Wimbledon

In the women's singles, world number 5 Jasmine Paolini and world number 80 Kamilla Rakhimova competed in the evening session of the third day of the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament held in London, the capital of England.

Russian tennis player Rakhimova advanced to the third round by winning 2-1 against Italian tennis player Paolini with sets of 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.

In the other women's singles matches of the evening stage, Elina Svitolina, Emma Raducanu, Naomi Osaka, Diane Parry and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova defeated their opponents and advanced to the next round.

In the men's singles, Jordan Thompson and Kamil Majchrzak advanced to the third round.
