Diogo Jota died in a car accident

Liverpool star player Diogo Jota, 28, died in a car accident.
Portuguese media reported that Liverpool forward Diogo Jota died this morning in a car accident in Zamora, Spain. Jota had gotten married two weeks before the accident.
Liverpool confirmed Jota's death in a post on their official X account.

According to Marca, Jota died when the car he was travelling in with his 26-year-old professional footballer brother André went off the road and caught fire.
Eyewitnesses who called an ambulance said that the flames from the vehicle spread and spread to the surrounding green area.
Portugal national football team player Diego Jota was transferred to Liverpool for £41 million in 2020.
