UEFA fines Beşiktaş 900 thousand euros

UEFA fined Beşiktaş 900 thousand euros (42.3 million lira) for violating the squad cost rule.

According to the statement sent by Beşiktaş to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the decision was taken after the review of the UEFA Club Financial Control Body.

Accordingly, it was determined that Beşiktaş violated the squad cost rule for the period of December 1, 2023 - November 30, 2024.

As a result of the violation, a fine of 900 thousand euros was imposed.

Beşiktaş announced that the appeal process is ongoing and the public will be informed when the process is completed.
