Konyaspor issues statement regarding two players in betting investigation!

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has identified 1,024 players identified as having bet on professional leagues as part of its betting investigation and referred them to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK). Konyaspor, whose two players are on the list, released a written statement on its official X account, stating:

In a statement released today by the Turkish Football Federation, we have learned that two of our players have been referred to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board as part of an ongoing betting investigation . As Konyaspor Club, we have always stood for what is right and just. This will continue to be the case. We have no doubt that general principles of law will be adhered to throughout the investigation, and that the presumption of innocence regarding our players will be respected. Our club will continue to exercise due diligence to ensure that justice is served in the most appropriate manner and that the process concludes soundly, cooperating with the relevant institutions as necessary, and closely monitoring the process.
