Hull City face three-window transfer ban

The English Football Association (EFL) has decided to impose a three-window transfer ban on Hull City, one of the Championship teams owned by Acun Ilıcalı.
Hull City owe Premier League side Aston Villa £1million over the loan fee and wages of centre-forward Louie Barry, according to the Telegraph .
The EFL has imposed a three-window transfer ban on Hull City over late payment.
Due to the ban that will be in effect until the end of summer 2026, the club will only be able to transfer free agents.
Hull City, who made just three signings in the summer transfer window, said they would appeal the decision and were confident the matter would be resolved.
Ilıcalı, who bought the club for £30 million in January 2022, said the following the other day:
"We don't have any financial problems. It's true, we spend too much. Sometimes there can be some minor technical problems. The club has debts, but these debts belong to me. I won't ask for all of these debts back."
Sergej Jakirovic has been appointed as manager of Hull City.
