WhatsApp's design is changing radically!
WhatsApp has taken the first step toward a radical overhaul of its interface as it prepares for Apple's iOS 26 update. The company announced that with the release of the iOS 25.24.10.70 beta, the app will be compatible with Apple's new Liquid Glass design language.
Liquid Glass stands out as a new interface concept that will be introduced to users with iOS 26. Its translucent structure, reflection effects that change depending on the lighting, and dynamic transitions offer a more modern look in many areas, from buttons to menus. WhatsApp is expected to initially implement this design in the main navigation bar at the bottom, then gradually expand it to the entire interface.
WHEN TO USE?It's not yet clear when the Liquid Glass design will be fully integrated into WhatsApp. However, testing is ongoing and the app will reportedly gain a much more fluid, transparent, and system-compatible appearance with the iOS 26 update.
