Road warning to drivers from the General Directorate of Highways

Due to ongoing roadworks across Türkiye, traffic flow has been altered and controlled on some routes. In its October 7, 2020, road conditions bulletin, the General Directorate of Highways warned drivers to be careful and obey traffic signs and signals in areas where work is underway.

Due to superstructure repair and renovation works at kilometers 0-6 of the Gebze Junction-Dilovası Junction section of the TEM Highway, the Istanbul-Ankara direction of the highway was closed to traffic. Transportation was diverted from the Gebze Junction to the D-100 highway. Entrances to the TEM Highway Gebze toll booths from the D-100 highway were closed. Within the scope of the work, the branch coming from the Osmangazi Bridge at the Muallimköy Junction and connecting to the TEM Highway in the Ankara direction, as well as the branch coming from the Northern Marmara Highway and connecting to the TEM Highway in the Ankara direction, were closed to traffic. These vehicles can continue in the Istanbul direction and exit onto the D-100 highway from the TEM Highway Gebze Junction. It has been reported that the work is continuing on a 24-hour basis.

Due to superstructure repair works, transportation is provided under control at the 1st-2nd kilometers of the İskenderun West Junction-Free Zone Junction section of the TİS (Toprakkale-İskenderun) Highway.

Due to ongoing road construction works on the 15th-17th kilometers of the Kızılcahamam-Kahramankazan-Ankara road, the Ankara-Kahramankazan-Kızılcahamam direction has been closed to traffic, and transportation is provided in both directions from the other direction.

Due to road repair works on the 40th-41st kilometers of the Çivril-Denizli highway, transportation is being carried out in two directions on a section of the divided highway.

Due to road construction works between the 24th and 28th kilometers of the Kayseri-Pınarbaşı highway, transportation is provided in both directions on a section of the divided highway.

Transportation is provided in a controlled manner due to the junction arrangement (pavement) works between the 34th and 35th kilometers of the Karabük-Eskipazar road (Eskipazar Marble Junction).

Due to earthworks, engineering structures and superstructure renovation works on the 21st-23rd kilometers of the Zara-İmranlı-Kızıldağ road, transportation is provided in the Zara-İmranlı direction.

Due to repair works at the Kütahya Entrance Junction at the 37th-38th kilometers of the İnönü-Kütahya road, the right lane in the Kütahya direction has been closed to traffic, and transportation is provided from the left lane.

Road construction continues on the 8th-13th kilometers of the Diyarbakır-Bismil-Batman highway, with transportation provided in both directions on a section of the divided highway.

Joint repair work is being carried out on the Maçka-Trabzon direction structures of the Değirmendere 2 and Değirmendere 4 bridges located at the 5th-15th kilometers of the Trabzon-Maçka road, and transportation is provided in a controlled manner from a single lane.
