Another message from Bahçeli regarding political cases: Türkiye must get rid of them quickly

Nationalist Movement Party ( MHP ) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli issued a written statement.

Evaluating regional developments in his statement, Bahçeli also gave messages regarding domestic policy.

Speaking about the operations against CHP-run municipalities, the MHP leader said, "Türkiye must quickly get rid of the increasingly serious legal cases that have spread and intensified across many areas, especially municipalities, and ultimately, justice must be fully served."

MARKED THE END OF THE JUDICIAL HOLIDAY

Bahçeli, emphasizing the need to conclude investigations after the judicial recess, said, "With the end of the judicial recess, it should be our priority to definitively end the unfounded debates and friction surrounding the judiciary and to complete ongoing investigations and prosecutions as soon as possible, in terms of democracy and legal security."

Bahçeli also commented on the "identity" debate that arose regarding the process the government calls "Türkiye without terrorism," and noted the following:

Furthermore, and more importantly, as we approach the goal of a "Turkey Without Terrorism," it is a mistake to once again revive artificial and confrontational debates that have become stale and outdated. The rehashing of obvious distortions regarding geographically based identity definitions and their insertion into the political agenda is a deliberate and pathological flaw. It should not be forgotten that our shared personality and identity, our shared will and pride, and the shared strength and value centered in the understanding that everyone is equal in Turkey, are the great Turkish nation.

In today's twilight period, when regional and global challenges are constantly accelerating and gaining ground, Turkey's strengthening of an atmosphere of internal peace and fraternity is an enviable development. The fact that the culture of problem-solving is steadily expanding its sphere of influence and its scope of support within the normal flow of life and politics is hopeful for our future. Moreover, there is no other reasonable and known option than resolving some of the grave problems that have become knotted together through the spirit of national unity and solidarity.

The late Akif’s words, which are full of prosperity and promise relief, will forever preserve their existence in every aspect as the timeless call of history and geography: Indeed, “Those who live will see that Türkiye and the Turkish nation will not die.”

Transforming a vile and cursed era, where the cries of the oppressed echo across the heavens and oppression scours and wounds continents one after another, into the common good, common interests and peaceful dialogue of humanity is only possible through the globalization of moral responsibility.

In this regard, it is not just a heroic wish but an inevitable moral conscience mission that Türkiye will play an important role with its historical heritage, strategic horizon that embraces the ages, respectful spiritual fabric, invaluable national culture, and tremendous fortitude and character.

GAZA MESSAGE

Unless the chain reaction of wars and conflicts is stopped from eroding and consuming humanity and civilizations from within, the longing for lasting and all-encompassing peace and stability will never end. What a sorrowful, indescribable pain it is that the destruction, tragedy, and humanitarian disaster, especially in Gaza, are constantly escalating.

The dead and murdered babies, children, women—in short, the innocent—and those buried are not only lifeless bodies but also humanity and human heritage. Our Palestinian brothers and sisters are in the crossfire of a barbaric blockade. Gaza is condemned to hunger, thirst, lack of medicine, and every kind of despicable oppression. Netanyahu, a perpetrator of genocide, a disgrace to humanity, and a brand of unparalleled brutality, is planning to occupy (and, one step later, annex) Gaza. This plan is a despicable ambition that should shock the world.

It is now a matter of life and death for the United Nations to take immediate action, or at least show signs of dynamism, and to deal a blow to the ongoing massacre and the Zionist project in Gaza with a multi-participant "Peacekeeping Force." Taking political, military, and moral action against this nightmare of murder and wickedness is a humanitarian duty, any delay or delay of which will lead to disastrous consequences.

While this is happening, the significant and distressing allegations occurring in our country and making headlines must be investigated from multiple perspectives, and their connection to systematically conducted foreign-linked intelligence operations must be clarified.

The ongoing black campaign centered around the LGS exam and fake diplomas must be thoroughly evaluated to determine whether it is an insidious scheme aimed at undermining social trust and peace, and thwarting efforts to achieve a terror-free Turkey. The fight against organized fraud and scam gangs must undoubtedly continue to the very end.

However, it is imperative for our national security, social and societal trust that the contents are not overlooked when looking at the envelope, and the true root and source are not ignored when looking at the surface.

'FULL EXECUTION OF JUSTICE MUST BE ENSURED'

In addition, Türkiye must be quickly freed from the increasingly serious legal cases that have spread and intensified across many areas, especially municipalities, and ultimately, justice must be fully served.

Finally, I extend my best wishes for a speedy recovery to our citizens affected by the 6.1 magnitude earthquake, whose epicenter was in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir yesterday evening. I pray for God's mercy upon our deceased citizens and a speedy recovery to our citizens undergoing treatment.

The state intervened in the earthquake zone with all its institutions, organizations, and resources, extending a compassionate hand to everyone. Earthquakes are an undeniable fact of life and our geography. There is no other solution or solution than to adapt our urbanization and lifestyle plans to this reality.
