MHP Chairman Bahçeli made an assessment of the current situation.

According to a statement from the Gülseven Media Group, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli received Necat Gülseven, Chairman of the Gülseven Media Board, which includes media institutions such as TV100, Show Radyo, and Radyo Viva, and TV100 Editor-in-Chief Deniz Gürel.

MHP Deputy Chairman for Media, Communications and Digital Media İsmail Özdemir also attended the visit, which took place at MHP Headquarters.

BAHÇELİ'S STATEMENT ON A TERROR-FREE Türkiye

MHP Chairman Bahçeli also made evaluations regarding the Terror-Free Türkiye process during the reception.

Bahçeli stated that they attach importance to the work of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission operating in the Turkish Grand National Assembly and emphasized the importance of all political parties supporting the work.

Bahçeli stated that the terrorist organization PKK's full compliance with the organization's leader Abdullah Öcalan's call for dissolution and the accompanying events have paved the way for positive developments. He underlined once again that "Peace is not a one-winged bird," and noted that burning weapons rather than burying them is a meaningful stance.

Bahçeli pointed out that burying a gun might mean it can be retrieved and used again later, but burning it means "we will never touch a gun again."

Emphasizing that every individual of the Turkish nation is an inseparable whole, Bahçeli stated that they, as the MHP, are sincerely continuing their efforts to embody a climate of peace.

Bahçeli pointed out that citizens of Kurdish origin living in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions also embrace the efforts to end terrorism, and noted that their unconditional support for these efforts is a guarantee of the successful completion of the goal of a Terror-Free Turkey.

Bahçeli stated that he recently watched images on television of a 14- or 15-year-old young man walking around the streets of Diyarbakır at night with an ice cream in his hand, and that these images even showed promising developments in the near future.

Bahçeli emphasized that it is time for citizens everywhere to live in peace without the worry of terrorism.

MHP Chairman Bahçeli stated that he expects the work on the Terror-Free Türkiye process to be completed by the end of the year.

During the meeting, Gülseven Media Chairman Necat Gülseven stated that all citizens living in the region, especially Diyarbakır, are grateful to MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli for his stance to end terrorism, and that he has personally observed and experienced this.
