How much government support is available for employees with children? Has the marriage loan been increased? How will repayment be handled?

The government has announced a significant support package to increase women's employment and make working life easier for mothers. The Women's Employment Affirmative Action Project (KİPAP) has increased the amount of incentives offered to both employers and mothers. So, what support will employers and working mothers be able to benefit from? Has the marriage loan been increased, and how will repayment be handled? Here are the details.

A New Era in Women's Employment: State Support Increased
As part of Family Year, the Women's Employment Affirmative Action Project (KİPAP) was launched to strengthen women's participation in the workforce. Under this project, when employers create new jobs and choose to hire women, the government will provide tax and premium support for each employee for three months.

How Much Was Tax and Premium Support?
Faruk Erdem explained the details of state support as follows:

Within the scope of this project, we're also working on specific sectors, including the IT sector, manufacturing, social services, and healthcare. If you choose a female employee to create additional employment in these sectors, provided you employ at least two people, the government provides 32,500 lira in tax and premium support for each employee, per month, for three months. So, by employing a woman for three months, you receive 97,500 lira in tax and premium support. In other words, the government, through İşkur, covers 97,500 lira of the premiums and taxes you pay to the government, along with the woman's salary.

Additional Support for Mothers with Children
If this woman is a mother, meaning she also has a child, the support continues for another six months. This support was initially 7,500 lira, but it has been increased to 10,000 lira per month. This means an additional 60,000 lira comes from there. A total of 157,500 lira is coming in. Increasing this support, of course, is both an incentive for employers in these sectors, but it also serves as an incentive to facilitate the work life of women, and especially mothers, by increasing their participation in the workforce. Therefore, employers will prefer women to take advantage of this incentive. If they are mothers, they will prefer them. Therefore, it will ensure their greater participation in the workforce.
