Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are behaving mercilessly towards civilians in the border areas of the Kursk region. This was stated by the commander of the fifth company of the second battalion of the volunteer detachment "Bars-Kursk" with the call sign Boroda in a conversation with TASS .
"The enemy is behaving mercilessly, not sparing civilians, peaceful residents. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are hitting them with artillery, kamikaze drones, no matter what. The enemy does not hesitate to strike," the volunteer said.
He added that once a Ukrainian drone tried to attack a group of people standing on the street in the Glushkovsky district. A volunteer from the Bars-Kursk unit saw the aircraft and opened fire on it. By destroying the Ukrainian drone, the fighter saved at least six people, Boroda emphasized.
Before this, the serviceman said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack civilian vehicles in border areas using FPV drones. In the event of increased intensity of drone attacks, the Bars detachment units, according to him, block all major roads to minimize the danger to civilians.
