The dropper had to compensate for the damage caused by the scammers

A resident of the village of Baysubakovo in the Cheboksary District turned to the district prosecutor's office with a request to help return the stolen money. In April last year, fraudsters misled the victim's minor granddaughter, having received from her the details of her grandmother's bank card, and stole 120 thousand rubles from the pensioner's account.
The police identified the owner of the bank account where the stolen funds were transferred. He turned out to be a resident of Omsk. Despite the unfounded nature of the money transfer, the man refused to voluntarily return the money he received.
The prosecutor, acting in the interests of the injured party, filed a claim with the court demanding to recover the entire amount from the dropper, including interest for the use of other people's money. As a result, the court ordered the defendant to pay the injured woman 122,800 rubles.
The court order was executed and the money was returned to the owner.
