St. Petersburg attracted more than 1 trillion rubles in investments at the SPIEF

The Northern capital signed 67 agreements worth a total of 1 trillion 28.8 billion rubles at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the work program of which ends today. The results of St. Petersburg's participation in the forum were reported by the city administration's press service.

Smolny indicated that the SPIEF has brought such an amount of investment to St. Petersburg for the second year in a row. Of the 67 agreements concluded, more than 40 are investment agreements, the city authorities specified. The documents are aimed at strengthening the potential of the city's scientific and production complex.

Among the significant agreements in the industrial sphere were agreements with USC on the modernization of shipbuilding, with Radar MMS on the development of unmanned systems, with the Machine-Building Division of Rosatom in the energy sector. St. Petersburg also agreed with AvtoVAZ on the production of the new Lada Iskra model at the city enterprise's facilities. In addition, an agreement on cooperation in the tourism sector was concluded between St. Petersburg, the Leningrad and Pskov regions.

Let us recall that SPIEF-2025 brought together over 20 thousand participants and guests from 140 countries.

It was previously reported that the neighboring region, Leningrad Oblast, concluded 34 investment agreements worth 740 billion rubles at the SPIEF.
