Half of Russian parents wanted social media to be banned for children under 15

Every second parent in Russia approves of the idea of introducing a ban on the use of social networks by children and teenagers. More often, this point of view is held by Russians over 35 years old.
In France, Spain and Greece, digital policy ministers have drafted a bill to ban access to social networks for children under 15.
Analysts from the job search service SuperJob conducted a new study, during which they found out how Russian residents would react to a similar ban in their country. It turned out that 46% of respondents supported the initiative. A third of respondents are against banning social networks for children, and every fourth (23%) found it difficult to answer.
At the same time, there are more supporters of restrictions among Russians over 35 years old (50%) and parents of children from seven to 15 years old (52%), according to the study.
