At a meeting on grass mowing, Novgorod organizations called on people to work together

A meeting on the issue of grass mowing was held in the Veliky Novgorod administration. Mayor Alexander Rozbaum addressed representatives of management companies, enterprises, educational institutions, KAU and Rosimushchestvo with an appeal to promptly solve the problem through joint and coordinated work.
There are currently 48 people working on manual harvesting. There are also 5 tractors and 4 riders. There are resources, but there is also a lot of work. The main difficulty is that the grass grows quickly, and when it is time for one area to be mowed, another area already needs to be mowed again.

There is also a problem with land of undivided use: the mayor noted that sometimes the lawn can be neatly mowed on the adjacent territory, but strictly along the border. The neighboring, even very small, ownerless plot will remain untouched, which spoils the overall picture, makes it untidy. And the city service can get to it very soon...
"City services mow streets within the boundaries of red lines, but there are also parks, squares, cemeteries and unmarked areas. And if you see such "patches" near your territory, mow them too, we will be very grateful," Deputy Head of the Veliky Novgorod Administration Sergei ANDREYEV addressed representatives of organizations.
He emphasized that if there is such a request, the administration is ready to consider remuneration to employees of private organizations for mowing "above the plan." They can, for example, get a part-time job at "City Economy" and receive additional payment for mowing "non-bordered areas."
Mayor Alexander Rozbaum also emphasized the importance of joint work by all interested parties and called on participants to intensify their interaction by ensuring timely maintenance of lawns and adjacent areas.
