Russian military cleared all islands at the mouth of the Dnieper from the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Russian Armed Forces ( RF Armed Forces) have cleared all the islands at the mouth of the Dnieper of Ukrainian troops ( AFU ). This was stated by the Governor of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo , RIA Novosti reported on Saturday, June 21.

“Our task now and the task of our military is to hold the already completely cleared territory of the Left Bank and those dozens of islands that are located at the mouth of the Dnieper,” he noted.

The head of the region added that there are no military objectives in the attempts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to force the Dnieper. He also emphasized that peace with Ukraine is possible only with the liberation of the right-bank part of the Kherson region, which currently remains under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to Saldo, Kherson under the control of the Ukrainian administration has been turned into a ghost town. At the same time, the Ukrainian military has begun to set crops on fire and has stepped up drone attacks on the region. In addition, Kiev is threatening officials of the Russian region.

Earlier, the Kherson governor spoke about the importance of the buffer zone in the region. According to him, it will counteract the activity of Ukrainian agents.
