People's Artist Valentina Talyzina has died

Famous Soviet and Russian theater and film actress Valentina Talyzina has passed away. Her death was announced at the Mossovet Theater, where the actress had worked since 1958.
The Russian film star was 90 years old. The cause of death has not yet been officially determined.
According to the Telegram channel Shot, the actress died as a result of an oncological disease. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Talyzina's condition worsened last spring.
Valentina Talyzina played more than 150 roles in films, including "Zigzag of Fortune", "Afonya", "Marriage", "Guest from the Future". However, she became famous thanks to the role of Valya, Nadya's friend, in the cult film "The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!"
Talyzina also did voice-over work. Her voice was used by Uncle Fyodor's mother from Prostokvashino to perform the song "If There Were No Winters".
