Doctor and TV presenter Elena Malysheva and her co-host, ophthalmologist Mikhail Konovalov, named the condition that must be observed for healthy sleep on the air of the program "Live Healthy!" on Channel One . The episode with the advice of experts is available on the TV channel's website .
Konovalov said that, according to research, blue light emitted by computer, telephone and smartphone screens interferes with the production of the sleep hormone melatonin. Malysheva added that such light sources should be removed from the bedroom.
"The main condition of sleep is to turn off the visual analyzers, turn off the eyes. Just turn them off at all costs," she called on Russians.
