In Moscow, investigators have completed their investigation into a criminal case of child trafficking involving mothers of many children, Yulia Loginova and Natalia Patoka. Patoka's lawyer, Stanislav Kulov, told RIA Novosti about this.
The women were charged under Article 127.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Human trafficking") in its final version. Now they are familiarizing themselves with the case materials. According to the lawyer, his client can be charged under Article 154 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal adoption") or for an administrative offense due to providing false information to the registration authority.
The criminal case on the trafficking of infants was opened on October 16, 2023. There are 19 defendants in the case, including three mothers with many children. Loginova has 15 children in her care. Earlier, DNA test results confirmed the sale of four boys and three girls, who were adopted by Yulia Loginova with the help of Patoka.
On October 21, 2024, the preliminary investigation period for this case was extended by three months, until January 16.
