Goalkeeper Brian Araújo joins Farense for two seasons

Portuguese-French goalkeeper Brian Araújo will join Farense , from the II Liga football league, for two seasons, after ending a 12-year contract with Gil Vicente.
The player, who signed a two-year contract, with an option for a further year, began his training at Sporting de Braga, but moved to the Barcelos club in the under-15s, in 2013.
In the last five seasons, as a senior, he has played a total of 11 official games for Gil Vicente.
"I'm very happy to sign for Farense, a club with history and much respect in Portugal. I hope to help the team on the field and help us get Farense back into the I Liga," said the goalkeeper, as quoted by the Algarve club.
After two rounds, Farense occupies 16th and third-to-last place in the II Liga, with just one point, visiting FC Porto B, 17th, in the next round, on Sunday, at 11:00.
