Buarcos 2017 quintet among 12 Portugal players called up for the European Beach Soccer League

The Portuguese beach soccer coach, Mário Narciso, today revealed the 12 players called up for the European Beach Soccer League, announced the Portuguese Football Federation. Among them are five athletes from AD Buarcos 2017: goalkeeper Pedro Mano, wingers André Lourenço and Bê Martins, and pivots Léo Martins and Miguel Pintado.

The 'quinas' team, current European champion, begins its title defense in Spain, at the Real Plaza de Toros, in Puerto de Santa Maria, a city located in the province of Cádiz, Andalusia.

The 'heroes of the sea' are in Group B, along with Türkiye, France and Poland, who will face each other between the 23rd and 25th of May.

The meeting is scheduled for Sunday, at the City of Football.
