Moraes asks Dino to schedule the trial of the second nucleus of the coup plot

Justice Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court requested that Justice Flávio Dino, president of the Court's First Chamber, schedule the trial of the second core of the coup plot. The decision was signed last Saturday, the 11th, but only published this Monday, the 13th.
The request after the conclusion of the criminal investigation, as well as the final allegations of the process opened after the complaint from the Attorney General's Office.
“Considering the regular conclusion of the procedural investigation (…), I request the honorable President of the First Chamber, Minister Flávio Dino, days for an in-person trial of this criminal action,” wrote Moraes in the decision.
Remember the caseThe core group includes those accused of developing the Green and Yellow Dagger plan, which called for the assassination of President Lula (Workers' Party), Vice President Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), and Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes. The members are also accused of using the public sector to attempt to interfere in the election results.
Defendants in core 2 are:
- Filipe Garcia Martins , former Special Advisor for International Affairs to the Presidency;
- Marcelo Costa Câmara , reserve colonel and former special advisor to the Presidency of the Republic;
- Mário Fernandes , reserve general and former Executive Secretary of the General Secretariat of the Presidency;
- Silvinei Vasques , former general director of the Federal Highway Police;
- Fernando de Sousa Oliveira , Federal Police delegate and former executive secretary of the Public Security Secretariat of the Federal District; and
- Marília Ferreira de Alencar , Federal Police delegate and former Director of Intelligence at the Ministry of Justice and Public Security under Anderson Torres.
The Attorney General's Office has already ruled in favor of convicting all defendants. According to prosecutor Paulo Gonet, there is sufficient evidence to convict the defendants of the following crimes: armed criminal organization; attempted violent abolition of the rule of law; attempted coup d'état; damage qualified by violence and serious threat against federal property, with considerable harm to the victim; and damage to listed heritage.
