Dino sets December as the start date for the trial of the second nucleus of the coup plot

Justice Flávio Dino, president of the First Chamber of the Supreme Federal Court, has scheduled the trial of the so-called second nucleus of the coup plot to begin on December 9th. The decision was signed by the justice on Monday the 13th, following a request from Alexandre de Moraes, the reporting judge on the case.
The minister has scheduled sessions for December 9, 10, 16, and 17. This will be the last core of the coup plot to be judged by the panel.
The core group includes those accused of developing the Green and Yellow Dagger plan, which called for the assassination of President Lula (Workers' Party), Vice President Geraldo Alckmin (Socialist Party), and Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes. The members are also accused of using the public sector to attempt to interfere in the election results.
Defendants in core 2 are:- Filipe Garcia Martins , former Special Advisor for International Affairs to the Presidency;
- Marcelo Costa Câmara , reserve colonel and former special advisor to the Presidency of the Republic;
- Mário Fernandes , reserve general and former Executive Secretary of the General Secretariat of the Presidency;

- Fernando de Sousa Oliveira , Federal Police delegate and former executive secretary of the Public Security Secretariat of the Federal District; and
- Marília Ferreira de Alencar , Federal Police delegate and former Director of Intelligence at the Ministry of Justice and Public Security under Anderson Torres.
