Taylor Swift: From the cover and date of her new album to the "crazy" question to her boyfriend

T aylor Swift sent fans into a frenzy this week by announcing her new studio album - 'The Life of a Showgirl'.

The news was given to the podcast 'New Heights', presented by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and her brother, Jason Kelce.

In this episode of the podcast, Taylor Swift revealed the release date of her new album. "Swifties," as the singer's fans are nicknamed, will be able to listen to "The Life of a Showgirl" starting October 3rd .

On her Instagram page, the singer also showed the album cover, as well as images of herself inspired by Las Vegas.

'Elizabeth Taylor', 'Ruin the Friendship', 'Honey', 'Actually Romantic', 'CANCELLED!', 'Eldest Daughter', 'Father Figure', 'Opalite' and 'The Fate of Ophelia' are the names of some of the songs that make up the album.

'The Life of a Showgirl' is the name of Taylor Swift's new studio album. The singer announced the news this Tuesday, August 12, on the podcast that her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelse.

It was also on this occasion that the singer and the American football player recalled their love story, including their first meeting - in which Swift ended up showing, albeit unintentionally, her ignorance regarding the sport.

"On our first date, I asked him what it was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl, what it was like looking out at the field and seeing his brother," said Swift, 35.

Taylor was referring to a game played by the Kansas City Chiefs, the team her boyfriend played for, against the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022, where her brother Jason Kelce was still a member before he ended his sports career.

"He [Travis] didn't even look at me. Now I realize that was a crazy question," the singer said. "Actually, I'm on offense and my brother is too. I just share the field with the defense at the same time," Travis replied. "And I thought everyone was on the field at the same time," said the "Shake It Off" singer.

Despite this "silence," the truth is that Taylor Swift has been learning more and more about the sport over the past few months, thanks to her relationship with Kelce. She says she ended up falling in love with American football and is now "obsessed."
