A video of a brawl at the JNcQUOI Avenida restaurant in Lisbon has become the trending topic on social media. The footage shows two women being pulled, slapped, and kicked, becoming even more popular since it became known that celebrities were among those involved.
One of the women involved in this dispute is Neurite Mendes, an Angolan presenter married to an equally famous businessman, influential and part of Angola's elite - Wilson Ganga, son of the chairman of the board of directors of the state-owned diamond production company Endiama.
Once those involved were identified, it didn't take long for the video and the controversial event to reach Angolan websites, newspapers and magazines, which quickly reported on the case.
A brawl scene involves the husband being caught with his lover
The brawl at Paula Amorim and Miguel Guedes de Sousa's upscale restaurant took place late in the afternoon of last Friday, August 8. Neurite Mendes entered the restaurant and allegedly, according to the online newspaper Imparcial Press, caught her husband in the act with his lover at JNcQUOI's Delibar.
Accompanied by her sister, the presenter entered the bar and approached her husband's alleged lover. The heated argument, fueled by alleged provocations, quickly escalated and culminated in the brawl shown in the surveillance footage circulating online—which you can see below.
According to the Angolan press, Neurite and her husband were on vacation in Portugal and suspicions regarding possible betrayal led her to follow him using GPS.
Where was Wilson Ganga while his wife and lover were slapping each other? Some say the businessman fled the scene, leaving his wife alone and allegedly at a disadvantage compared to her rival, who was accompanied by a group of friends.
So far, Neurite, who was elected Miss Africa in 2016, has not yet publicly commented on the incident. Fama ao Minuto contacted the Angolan celebrity to learn more about what actually happened, but has not yet received a response.
It is important to note that the two women were, according to Correio da Manhã, expelled from the place due to their lack of control over the situation.
Those responsible for the restaurant, which belongs to Amorim Luxury, released a statement, cited by Flash magazine, in which they stated that an investigation has been opened to determine why the restaurant's video surveillance images were released and made their way onto social media.

The tense atmosphere remains in the 'Big Brother Verão' house. On the same day Bruno de Carvalho was expelled from the reality show, Fábio Paim was reprimanded for insulting and threatening to attack Catarina Miranda. Upon seeing footage of the confrontation, the former soccer player burst into tears.
