Two arrested in Albufeira for trafficking more than 120 doses

Two men were arrested on Tuesday for drug trafficking in Albufeira, in the district of Faro, in an operation in which 121 doses of cocaine and heroin were seized, in addition to 10,660 euros, the National Republican Guard (GNR) announced this Thursday.
According to a statement from the GNR, the arrests resulted from an investigation into the sale of drugs directly to consumers that had been ongoing for eight months in the municipalities of Albufeira, Loulé and Silves.
One suspect, aged 34, was arrested in flagrante delicto during a drug sale, while the other man, aged 33, was later arrested following a house search.
As part of this search, the military seized 93 doses of cocaine and 28 doses of heroin, two vehicles, six cell phones and 10,660 euros in cash.
The two detainees will be brought before the Albufeira Judicial Court for the application of coercive measures.
