In the second half, Régua continued to dominate and, in the 57th minute, came close to scoring a second goal, with a Figo cross to the far post, where Binaia shot near the left post of Pedro Fernandes' goal. In the 74th minute, the same player scored the visitors' second. Figo took a free kick, the ball was placed at the far post, and Binaia headed it in. In the 76th minute, Esteves appeared unmarked in the box and shot, but Edmilson made a careful save. This was one of the few times Abambres had a shot on target. In the 83rd minute, João Nuno found the net with Régua's third goal. Until the end, the Douro team had two more chances to extend their lead. First, Baló forced a good save from Pedro Fernandes, and then, in added time, a corner kick hit the crossbar after Rui Jorge's header.

At a time when information is more important than ever, support regional and local journalism. Access to most VTM news is (still) free, but it's not free; journalism costs money and requires investment. This contribution is a way to directly support A Voz de Trás-os-Montes and its journalists. Our counterpart is independent and local journalism, but not only that. It means continuing to inform despite all contingencies; we never stop for a single day.
