Soul Frater Association promotes solidarity walk this Saturday

On Saturday, the 20th, Soul Frater – Amor Sem Fronteiras will hold a walk to raise funds to continue helping people in vulnerable situations.

The initiative invites the population to unite and contribute to this cause, which provides support in terms of food, social, medical and educational services, both locally and in Mozambique, where Soul Frater's founder, Luciano Diniz, built Vila da Criança, a shelter where 64 orphans live.

"The walk aims not only to promote physical activity and showcase, but also to enrich the human spirit by contributing to the well-being of the entire participating community, as well as supporting a charitable cause. Those who participate will be contributing to the purchase of books, clothing, and food for these children, as well as support for the elderly," explains the organization.

Registration is open until the 19th.

The Soul Frater Solidarity Walk is a 7 km circular route along the eco-path next to the Tâmega River, starting from Alameda de Trajano.

The activity, organized with the support of the Associação Lobos do Brunheiro de Chaves, has a low level of difficulty and is suitable for the entire community.

At a time when information is more important than ever, support regional and local journalism. Access to most VTM news is (still) free, but it's not free; journalism costs money and requires investment. This contribution is a way to directly support A Voz de Trás-os-Montes and its journalists. Our contribution is independent and local journalism, but not only that. It means continuing to report despite all the constraints of lockdown, without having to stop for a single day.
