Olhão once again offers school supplies to all 1st Cycle students

The municipality of Olhão will once again support all families with children in primary and preschool by providing free school supplies and activity books at the start of the 2025/2026 school year. The investment, worth approximately €150,000, aims to ensure equal opportunities for access to and success in school.

In total, nearly 1,900 1st cycle students will receive activity books and a school supply kit tailored to their grade level. First-grade students will also receive a backpack, while those in higher grades will receive a reusable bag.

The partnership with AmbiOlhão is once again present in this initiative: the backpacks and bags, offered by the municipal company, carry a message of environmental awareness, while also lightening families' shopping lists.

Kindergartens and all primary school classrooms will also receive kits of consumable materials for collective use in educational activities, reinforcing support for schools and educators.

Activity books and materials are now being delivered to schools so that students have access to them on the first day of classes of the new academic year.

With this measure, the municipality continues the educational policy it has been implementing in recent years, aiming to support families, reduce inequalities, and create better conditions for the educational path of all children in Olhão.
