Babi Domingos and Geovanna Santos advance to the final at the Gymnastics World Championships

In the Rio edition, Geovanna reached 83,500 and advanced to 13th place, while Babi scored 82,500 and came in 15th place.
On the first day of the tournament, the ball and hoop series were held, while today (21) they were held with ribbon and clubs. Members of Group B, the Brazilians were the first to perform on this second day of the World Cup.

"I finished my participation very happy. I feel so grateful for everything I did on the court, for having given it all my all. I do believe we can improve our scores. It's about focusing, keeping our heads in the right place, because we're fighting for a spot in the all-around final," Geovanna said earlier.
"My assessment today is that I was very strong and resilient until the end. I know the clubs didn't turn out the way I wanted, but I've learned a lot from this series. The experience showed my strength and resilience, and that I was able to overcome the difficulties in the clubs to come back with everything I had," commented Babi after completing her participation in the individual qualifiers.
German Darja Varfolomeev, gold medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics, topped the all-around rankings with 92.850.
